La radio du Petit Journal : Earth Angel, par Marvin Berry and the Starlighters

Au programme ce matin une chanson rendue célèbre à notre époque grâce à son emploi dans la fameuse trilogie Retour vers le futur : Earth Angel, LA chanson du bal de la Féérie dansante des sirènes durant laquelle Marty, monté sur scène pour remplacer le guitariste du groupe, manque de disparaître... Littéralement ! Que de souvenirs d'ado en écoutant cette chanson d'amour chantée pour la première fois en 1954 par le groupe vocal The Penguins. C'est d'ailleurs la version du film que je vous propose de ré-écouter ce matin, d'autant plus que j'ai tendance à la préférer à l'originale de même qu'aux autres versions d'époque. Avis aux cinéphiles en quête d'idées pour une danse surprise rétro : commencez un slow sur Earth Angel et après interruption de la chanson lancez-vous dans un rock classique avec la version de "Johnny B.
